Gluten-Free for Me & You! (2-hour class)
This class will start from the very beginning by introducing participants to everything they’ll need to know about setting up a gluten-free kitchen, stocking the pantry with staple ingredients, grocery store shopping and preventing cross-contamination. The class includes instruction on basic gluten-free cooking techniques to help adapt recipes. Enjoy a gluten-free cooking demonstration and a tour of Whole Foods Market to help you become an expert gluten-free shopper.

_Gluten-Free Baking, Alternative Grains and Nutrition (2-hour class)
Curious about the dozens and dozens of gluten-free flours on the marketplace? This class will look at some of the most popular gluten-free flour replacements (white rice flour, brown rice flour, almond flour, teff, millet, coconut flour, sorghum flour, soy flour, etc) and teach parents and kids how to convert their favorite baking recipes into gluten-free alternatives. Furthermore, the course will look at the nutritional properties of each of the gluten-free ingredients and explore how to boost nutrition in household recipe favorites. The class will also look at gluten-free all-purpose flours and help participants decide which blend is the best for their family. Eating in a school cafeteria can be a daunting experience for a child recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease. This seminar for parents and children will teach parents and kids to work together to pack a nutrient-packed lunch with products that will appeal to all kids. The course will explore gluten-free packaged snacks and sandwich breads as well as naturally gluten-free lunch-friendly foods. Additionally the class will address working with school cafeterias to provide gluten-free foods for students.

We’ll explore gluten-free packaged goods that can quickly be transformed into succulent meals for your family. Multiple meals will be prepared and served.
